Can a navy reservist attend airborne school?
Q. I am currently in my Construction Mechanic A-School and am interested in going to airborne school. I know that it is primarily an army school but that other branches also attend. As a Construction Mechanic and a reservist what are the chances, and how would I go about going to airborne school?

A. ZERO. If Reserve Recon don't have the opportunity to go to "Jump School", your chances are slim. You're a Reserve Con. Mec., I highly doubt that your unit would want to pay for you to go to a school that has nothing to do with your MOS. If you'd been SEALs, it might be a different story. You can always ask your unit and see what they can do for you though.
